Exhibits

ART EXHIBITIONS ON THE LIBRARY'S WALLS

Monthly or bimonthly exhibits

Through its art exhibitions, the Library aims to raise public awareness towards artwork and promote the cultural development of its community.

The exhibit space is open to local and regional artists in order to help them find recognition for their great work. The Library may also offer thematic exhibits. Exhibition periods are for a minimum of one month.

Applications for art displays should be sent to the Library including a curriculum vitae, after having acknowledged the Art Exhibit Regulations. The library will then contact the artist for a presentation of his or her work.

PUBLIC: Artists - MAX.: N/A - FEES: Free activity

SECOND SOUFFLE

David Simard

Exhibition from November 1th to January 27th 2019

Young adult, David Simard passionately studied art. In his thirties, he immersed himself in woodworking. Recently, photography has titillated his interest. Art has always been part of his life. The recent death of a close person triggered his desire to create in his honor and in his memory. Second souffle for him, for her and for all those objects reused on creations, which would have otherwise ended in garbage.

You are invited to meet the artist on Saturday, November 10 from 3pm to 4pm.

PUBLIC: for all - MAX.: aucun - FEES: n/a
